My husband and I moved back to Nelson County in 2011 to raise our children in the community that I was raised. While we were expecting our son, we reflected on the education experiences that we wanted for our children and there was no question that we wanted it to be in the Nelson County Schools that we graduated from. Our Children currently attend Cox’s Creek Elementary School and I have been very involved in the Cox’s Creek Community as President of the PTO. Having the opportunity to build relationships with the teachers and the parents of our community has been something that I will always cherish. As I started to learn more about the next steps for our District, I decided it was time for me to be involved on a broader scale.
After graduating from Nelson County High School, I earned my Bachelors Degree in Economics and Business Administration and my Masters in Business Administration from Bellarmine University. Since 2008, I have worked for Chevron Corporation starting in customer service and eventually finding my passion in a career in Data & Analytics. As a member of the Nelson County Board, I leverage my educational background and work experience to make decisions for the school district. It is my mission to ensure that every student has equal educational access & opportunities regardless of their zip code.
